2026 AIM PRE-ICIS WORKSHOP - CALL FOR PAPER

Dear colleagues,

The 2026 AIM Pre-ICIS workshop will be held on December 13, 2026, in Lisbon, Portugal. You will be able to rejoin the AIS’s ICIS, scheduled for December 13-16, 2026 (Lisbon, Portugal).

This year, the AIM pre-ICIS will take the form of a paper development workshop. You can submit your paper in French or English and present in any of these languages. The French AIS Chapter workshop is a fantastic opportunity to discuss your work in progress: it is open to the French speaking community and beyond. We would like to highlight the conference theme track that invites forward looking research on Digital Collaboration and Coexistence.

Short papers typically describe ongoing work that is yet to be completed, but promising. Short papers could take various forms. For example, they can be theoretical (presenting promising frameworks), empirical (with some preliminary results), or present a design of novel and useful concepts, artefacts (testing need not to be done). Short papers should include a paragraph describing what work remains to complete the paper (for more details on the short paper format, see https://icis2026.aisconferences.org/submissions/types-of-submissions/)

Your paper must not exceed eight (8) pages (all inclusive) and must conform to the ICIS paper submission template. The page limit covers everything in the submission, including title, text, tables, figures, appendices, and references. It is important that you adhere to this formatting requirement (don’t send your full 45 pages long paper – it’s not the intent of this workshop).

You can find ICIS submission template here: https://icis2026.aisconferences.org/wp-content/uploads/2026/04/ICIS-2026_-Paper-Submission-Template-v3.docx
